Bliss is defined as a state of euphoria or perfect happiness. Joseph Campbell said:
“If you do follow your bliss you put yourself on a kind of track that has been there all the while, waiting for you, and the life that you ought to be living is the one you are living. When you can see that, you begin to meet people who are in your field of bliss, and they open doors to you. I say, follow your bliss and don't be afraid, and doors will open where you didn't know they were going to be. My general formula for my students is ‘Follow your bliss.’ Find where it is, and don't be afraid to follow it.”
--Joseph Campbell, The Power of Myth, pp. 120, 149
Mystic and scholar, Joseph Campbell has been a huge inspiration to me over the years. I think everyone on the planet could use a little (or a lot) of bliss and sometimes, the journey to bliss isn’t always completely blissful, so we need to treasure it when we realize we are in that state and work even harder to remain in a perpetual state of bliss. It is our birthright! Everyone deserves to feel blissful at least some of the time. To me, bliss is when the mind and body and spirit are in tune with each other and there is peace on all levels. The stress of daily living floats away and is kept at bay for a least a little while.
Whether you call this state bliss, zen, nirvana, euphoria, it is essential to find it in your life and it is my goal with Blissed Bodywork to help you get there. I chose the butterfly as the logo for my company because it is a universal symbol of transformation on all levels; and butterflies make me feel blissful whenever they flutter into my life! Also, my absolutely favorite bone in the body is the sphenoid, which is butterfly shaped, and energetically related to psychic abilities & intuition.
I offer these various holistic health offerings: Reiki, Craniosacral, Myofascial Release, Intra Oral/TMJ work, Pranic Healing, Thai-su Yoga Massage, Thai HerbBall Treatments, Steamy Stone treatments, Aromatherapy, Classical Pilates, and Coaching/Mentoring.
Taking care of yourself is not a luxury, it is a necessity for a healthy and happy life. Feel free to browse my website and if you feel so inclined, please contact me to set up an appointment for you. I’d be happy to answer any questions you may have too.

Please arrive early & be aware that there is construction going on.

Park in Visitor spaces close to the building. The closest to my office are near the East entrance (I5 side) on the Southeast side.

Do your best to park in Visitor spaces. Part of the lot by the chimney & separate Daycare/Cottage building is also designated as Visitor space. Do not park in the Daycare/Cottage spaces that are clearly marked.

I am on the second floor on the East side of the building, at the top of the East staircase. There is also an elevator in the center of the building.

The East entrance is currently closed. The closest entrance is the Northeast entrance, right next to Life Pilates by the North Tower. ADA access is here. Go in that entrance, then left down the hallway to the main hallway. Elevator is to the right, East staircase to the left.

Text me if you have any trouble!

I’m excited to announce that Blissed Bodywork will now be housed in the historic Providence Academy building, which is on the National Register of Historic Places.

It was designed & finished by Mother Joseph in 1873, the founder of the Sisters of Providence, which became today’s Providence Healthcare System.
